5) Works Contract

The Contract for Work defines the binding delivery scope, schedule, client cooperation requirements, and the handover method.

What the Contract Typically Includes

  • Delivery scope: type (climbing wall / bouldering zone / combined), zones, add-ons, and technical definition based on the study / project documentation
  • Schedule and milestones: production, assembly, follow-up on space readiness
  • Price and payment milestones: typically advance payment → manufacturing → advance payment → installation → handover → final settlement
  • Client cooperation: inputs, access, operating constraints, building services (MEP) clashes, contact persons
  • Change management: how changes are requested, priced, and reflected in schedule adjustments
  • Handover: handover protocol and handover documentation (subject to scope)
  • Warranty and service: warranty conditions, service regime and inspections (if agreed)
